If you know someone who has recently experienced an acute ischemic stroke, talk to them about our new study.

An acute ischemic stroke (AIS) occurs when the blood vessels (arteries) that supply oxygen to a part of the brain become narrowed or blocked due to blood clots, which reduces or completely stops blood supply to that part of the brain.  A new study drug is being explored for the treatment of AIS.
